4 Boy Sleepover Tips

Fletcher loved planning the details of his sleepover with me.  He added groceries to my cart, stocked his mini fridge upstairs and we talked through fun things to do while his buddy was here.

I have a few tips for you to ensure you have a really fun sleepover with boys.  It was different than the girl sleepovers we've hosted.  They like to chat, craft, bake, watch a movie, sing and do skincare.  Haha.

Tip #1. Buy LOTS of food.  They love to try new flavors, try anything that's gone viral on youtube and buy more snacks that you think you might need.  I checked with his mom to confirm any allergy/food issues before buying snacks.  They loved trying these snacks.  The Shaq gummies were HUGE and a hit.  They decided this new release Lunchly flavor was gross and so were the Glow Up Sour Patch kids.  The Takis, Doritos, other gummies and chips were good.

Tip #2: Air soft or Nerf guns.  Kevin set up some targets and we had a fun time shooting them.  We were extra careful.  We tried to do a good mix of playing outside and playing games/watching movies inside.

Tip #3: Outside games.  Olive ran a little volleyball game followed by a game of knock out where they threw the ball to the group and whoever caught it got to throw it the next time.  I provided the snacks and Kevin was the fun Dad outside playing all the games.

Tip #4 Big breakfast.  They stayed up later than usual.  Then woke up to a breakfast of bacon, eggs and dinosaur/car waffles.  I confirmed the menu the night before and made sure we have time before it was time for him to go.  If everyone leaves quick, I'll do something quick like donuts or make muffins.

They had a great time and can't wait to do it again!
