MIL's Chili

My MIL makes a mean bowl of chili.
I grew up eating chili with noodles in it so I thought chili had to have noodles in it.  Well, it turns out that there's another way to make chili {noodle free} and it's delicious!!  It's thicker, heartier and is delicious with toppings.

She always said the recipe was so easy it was almost embarrassing.
I've eaten it a lot and finally asked for her recipe.
She again reminded me again that it was sooooo easy.
But really, Who doesn't love an easy recipe??

Pam's Chili:
1 lb ground round
1 chopped yellow onion
1 large can of Brooks Quick Chili Mix
(I couldn't find Brooks so I used two small cans of mild Busch chili beans)
1 can tomato soup
chopped tomatoes
1 can water
1 T sugar
2 T chili powder
top with fritos, shredded cheddar & sour cream

It turns out that my chili was a bit hot so I had a spoonful of sour cream and it cooled things right off.
You are welcome :)
