Swanky Cookies

Kevin spotted this swanky cookie shop a few weeks ago, tried a cookie and brought me back to sample some of the goodness.  They have very pricey delicious cookies!  Each cookie is named after a girl and they have a really cute logo & shop downtown.  You can get a free taste of any of the cookies before you buy. 

We bought the Maris (chocolate, chocolate chips with a gooey caramel center) and a Trudy (Good 'Ol fashioned chocolate chip cookie).  They were delish!

Sweet Topher loves to be by my side at ALL times (especially when it means snuggling up close to the warm computer).  I think he's even smiling for the camera :)

Kick off to Our Anniversary Weekend

 

We went to dinner at our favorite place tonight... Braza Grill! 

This Brazilian steakhouse is delish. 

We love the grilled pineapple, ham, bacon wrapped chicken, steak, etc.

The food was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! 

Great way to start off the weekend.

Summer nights

 

Summer birthdays in the backyard are the best.  

The temps in Utah 
haven't been as hot as the rest of the country this week 
so we enjoyed a make your own pizza bar on the patio, 
ice cream and an impressive fireworks show by Kevin.  

Pretty sure our gift was the b.e.s.t. gift of the night!  

We gave D a bag of 100 colorful balls 
and everyone had fun with them :)

Looking forward to...

This postcard came in the mail a few months ago.  It got us thinking... that we are both turning 30 this year.  So we are going on a 30th birthday cruise this October!!  We will get to go to Key West and Cozumel :)

 

Road Trip Day 4

We walked into Saloon 10 and I had to show my ID, get my hand stamped by a 300lb+ man and walked around in sawdust at this casino...what did Kevin get me into??

Shootout reinacted in the streets!

Asked the Sheriff and an outlaw to pose for a picture after their shoot out.  "Sure Little Lady" is what they said to my offer!  :)  I was thrilled!

Everything was wild west themed.

Calamity Jane claimed to be Wild Bill's secret love so this was her dying wish.  Apparently she wasn't a looker so not many people believed this was true.

We saw LOTS of deer on the drive back to the hotel.
