I hope you had a great, long weekend!  Now that September is here, I am ready to do all things Fall.
I pulled out my early Fall wreath and it looked a little sad this year.
Instead of spending $30-50 on a new wreath, I went on the hunt for something to refresh it.  I made the wreath a couple of years ago.  I bought nice quality florals then so it was the perfect candidate for a refresh.  We went to Dollar Tree over the weekend where we were able to find some mini pumpkin picks that were perfect.
They were $1.75/stem - cheaper than Hobby Lobby.
I LOVE how it turned out!
I grabbed 6 pumpkin/leaf picks for about $10.
Always grab a couple more picks that you need because you can always work them into your design.
I tried hard to find all the picks with three pumpkins on them.  They had a redish pumpkin, these organe pumpkins and white pumpkins.  They had a ton of Fall flower picks.  Some were terrible.  Some were perfect.  It's worth the dig.
The tags sliced off easily.
Leo was so excited to help me.  I didn't add any hot glue or take down the wreath.  We just worked the stems into the grapevine wreath.
Lots of kitty supervision required.
Wreath BEFORE: Not terrible, just a little flat after using it for a couple of years.
AFTER: Better with some fall leaves and mini pumpkins.
I love all the different colors and textures for Fall on our red front door.
I hope this gives you some inspriation to refresh a wreath of your own!

What an easy upgrade. It looks great!
